Teal season set to start in Mississippi

A reminder that teal season is coming up fast. It’s set to start on September 20 and run until September 28.

All hunters are reminded to complete their hip survey before hunting any migratory birds.

Any lifetime license holders and exempt license holders are still required to complete the survey.

If hunting on a wildlife management area, but sure to purchase a user permit and check in using the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks Huntfish app.
