City of Ocean Springs preparing for 48th annual Peter Anderson Festival
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Preparations are underway in Downtown Ocean Springs for one of the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s biggest arts and crafts events.
The 48th annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival returns November 7th and 8th.
Vendors, artists, and craftsmen will fill the streets of Downtown Ocean Springs, giving visitors a chance to shop, explore, and support local artists.
The festival runs from 9 a.m.t o 5 p.m. both days, bringing thousands of visitors to the Coast for a weekend of art, food, and community. Cynthia Sutton with the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce said, “It takes us almost a year for us to plan this event but we are now down to crunch time, the week of the event which is the most chaotic and fun time. We are out today marking the street so vendors know where to set up. We’re going to have over 400 arts and crafters from all over the United States here for the festival weekend.”
