MSU Extension Head Start expanding into Hancock County
HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Mississippi State University’s head start program announces they are expanding into Hancock County.
A standalone center being planned in Bay-Waveland.
This expansion is possible due to a partnership with the Hancock County School District.
Pre-K classrooms will be brought into elementary schools.
The head start center says these efforts will create 80 new slots for children which will give families more access to early learning and family support.
