Repairs to Hanshaw Road Bridge in Ocean Springs nearly complete

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- There is a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the Hanshaw Road Bridge reopening in Ocean Springs.

Alderman Robert Blackman took to Facebook this weekend, sharing pictures of the nearly completed repairs to the bridge.

State engineers still need to inspect the bridge to make sure it’s safe to travel on and city officials say they should know more on the opening timeline sometime this week.
