Mississippi Highway Patrol Cadet Class 69 graduates
JACKSON, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Highway Patrol has welcomed 38 new cadets.
Cadet Class 69 graduated from the Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy after 18 weeks.
Cadets took the oath to become state troopers and serve the state of Mississippi.
A few officers will take on specialty assignments, including one officer who will be working with the capitol police and another who is set to become a Bureau of Narcotics agent.
