Four injured in boating accident on Pascagoula River

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Four people were injured in a boating accident Sunday on the Pascagoula River.

According to Jackson County Fire Protection, it happened where the river meats Robinson Bayou.

It’s unclear as to the severity of the injuries for the boaters, but we do know one juvenile was transported to the hospital.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department and Department of Marine Resources responded to the scene.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
