05/19 Ryan’s “Early Summer” Monday Afternoon Forecast
Expect more mornings and afternoon's more reminiscent of early summer than late spring ahead.
We begin a new week with a similar “early summer” pattern like how we finished last week off, with warmer than average highs/lows and high humidity. Morning lows are trending about 10 degrees above normal in the upper 70s, though afternoon highs are a little better at only a few degrees above average in the mid 80s. I expect we’ll see a slight increase in afternoon highs as we approach Wednesday, but it’s really the humidity causing the early summer conditions we’re feeling. That will fall noticeably soon, but not before it gets slightly worse ahead of a mid-week frontal passage. Even then, expect afternoons to only cool a couple of degrees while mornings will noticeably fall into the mild mid 60s, so we’ll return to a more seasonal pattern for just a few days before returning to “early summer.”
