Walker set sail earlier this week. Family, friends, and Singing River Yacht Club members sending him off.

His choice of vessel is a sailboat called the Persimmon.

His route involves a stop at Dauphin Island then on to Key West, there making his way through the Panama Canal into the Pacific Ocean.

Walker will spend about 40 days in the open ocean ahead of a stop in Australia.

We wish him the best of luck in his travels. Be sure to stick with WXXV as we periodically check in on his journey.
