04/21 Ryan’s “Cloudy & Humid Start” Monday Morning Forecast

Seeing a continuance of our weekend weather as we're off to a cloudy & humid start to the week.

We’re off to a cloudy and humid start today, which is really just a continuation of our weekend weather…a pattern that’ll stick with us for the rest of the week. The most notable difference today is the addition of a few showers for our mid-morning hours, which will increase slightly to few-to-scattered showers and thunderstorms in the early afternoon. These won’t likely cause any problems in terms of severe weather or rainfall accumulation, but have a small chance of “overachieving” in northwest Pearl River County which is under a level 1 risk of severe weather.

The rain will dry up through the evening hours, but the warm, humid weather isn’t going anywhere leading to a very similar morning ahead with lows in the upper 60s-low 70s. Shower and thunderstorm chances return and increase slightly for Tuesday, but still don’t look problematic.
