HSSM announces satellite partnership with Long Beach Police

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- National Animal Control Appreciation Week kicks off this Sunday. The Humane Society is partnering with Long Beach police to help lost pets and strays.

Every animal taken by Long Beach police will be processed through the Humane Society, making sure all are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given medical care.

Volunteers will also be trained at the location and staff at this new shelter are able to facilitate adoptions.
