Amtrak expected to return to the Coast June 2025

Amtrak has an expected return date of June 2025. That’s according to Southern Rail Commission’s Knox Ross.

That comes as the station in Mobile is still under construction.

When the line does reopen, two trains will depart each morning, one from New Orleans and one from Mobile.

Four stops are set for the Magnolia State, those being in Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Pascagoula.
