02/19 Ryan’s “Wet Start” Wednesday Morning Forecast
We got off to a wet start today, but the rain has already dried and colder air is rushing in!
There were still a few showers and sprinkles left after our wet start, but now the rain is finished and drier air is moving in! Not just drier, but colder as well! In fact, I feel like COLDER should be capitalized based on how low temperatures fall for the next couple of mornings. Thursday in particular will be brutally cold, with lows falling into the low-to-upper 20s across the area with a 10-15 mph breeze. That means wind chills will be down as low as the mid teens, potentially even single digits further inland! Definitely faucet-dripping weather, with afternoons only climbing into the upper 40s/low 50s for the rest of the week.
Thankfully it won’t last too long. We’ll be back above freezing by Saturday morning, and climbing into the 70s by middle of next week.
