Two-car crash causes vehicle to run into paint store on Highway 609

A two-vehicle accident on Highway 609 on Thursday morning ended with one of cars crashing into the Sherwin Williams paint store.

A 47-year-old woman was driving the vehicle that crashed into the store about 8:30 a.m.

Jackson County Fire’s C-shift responded to the incident and posted photos on its social media.

Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating. Trooper Landon Orosco said there were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
