Former Ocean Springs Greyhound baseball standout Garrett Crochet traded to Boston Red Sox

Per ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Boston Red Sox have finalized a trade to acquire left-handed all-star, and former Greyhound great, Garrett Crochet from the Chicago White Sox.

The White Sox will be receiving four prospects from the Boston Red Sox. It is a hefty price to pay for the Red Sox but getting a pitcher like Crochet makes it all worth it. IN 2024 the former Greyhound finished 7th in the MLB in strikeouts and will be a goof edition to Boston’s bullpen.
