11/28 Ryan’s “Warm Thanksgiving” Thursday Morning Forecast
Expect a warm start to your South Mississippi Thanksgiving, but things will be cooling down dramatically as we finish off the week.
It may be Thanksgiving, but we’re once again seeing temperatures over 20 degrees above normal for late November. That’s due to our next cold front, which is actually passing through South MS now! It’s responsible for today’s warmer, more humid weather, as well as the few showers we’ll see across the area this morning. We just had one here at the station in North Gulfport, which literally lasted 20 seconds or less, so I wouldn’t expect many people will have a damp Thanksgiving. It will still be on the grey side though, with clouds holding on through the night and into tomorrow before clearing noticeably. That’ll bring much cooler weather in as well, with chilly mornings in the 30s and 40s for the rest of the week and weekend.

The season ends Saturday, and looks like we’ll remain free of any activity as it wraps up.
