Long Beach Winn Dixie to convert to Aldi

Another South Mississippi Winn Dixie location is being converted into an Aldi in the months to come.

Winn Dixie parent company Southeastern Grocers announced today that the Long Beach location is set to close in early February to begin the conversion process.

This news comes on the heels of the recent closure of the Gulfport Winn Dixie which is now in the process of becoming an Aldi.

Aldi released a statement that said employees now at the Winn-Dixie store will have an opportunity to be the first to apply to work at the newly converted Aldi stores — or to remain with Winn-Dixie and transfer to a neighboring store.
