Honoring veterans through their artwork
One community college on the Gulf Coast is honoring veterans. MGCCC’s Visual Arts School is showcasing artwork done by residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home.
The exhibit began Monday morning and runs through December 6th at the Fine Arts Gallery on the Harrison County campus.
A special ceremony will be happening on Veterans Day with honors college students recognizing the artists with stories connected to their work.
The gallery runs through December 6th. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
