Pascagoula Police Officer Stephen Huckaby passes away

The Pascagoula Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own.

The department announced that Officer Stephen Huckaby unexpectedly passed away yesterday, October 15, 2024.

According to the department, Officer Huckaby was at the training center when he began having heart attack symptoms. He was rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, he suffered a massive heart attack and passed away.

Officer Huckaby protected and served the community and City of Pascagoula for 45 years. Law enforcement and his family were the most important things to Officer Huckaby.

The Pascagoula Police Department is asking for prayers and thoughts for Officer Huckaby’s family and his police family as they mourn the loss of their friend.
