10/09 Ryan’s “Even Cooler” Wednesday Morning Forecast

This morning was even cooler, but we'll see a slight warm up later today.

This morning was even cooler across South Mississippi than yesterday’s amazing start, but we’ll see a bit of a warming trend through the rest of the day. Thankfully, it won’t last long, and we’ll be back to noticeably cooling by the end of the week.

This morning’s low in Gulfport fell a couple of degrees from yesterday, down to the mid-to-low 60s on the coast, with inland areas more towards the mid-to-upper 50s. Nearly identical to yesterday’s much more seasonal start, but just a touch cooler. From here though, we’ll see a slight bump in our overall humidity, bringing dewpoints from the low-to-mid 50s into the low 60s. A noticeable increase, but it won’t be a return to the “summer-like” weather we started the week off with on Monday (90 degrees with 60/70 dewpoints). It’s going to be a short-lived increase though as things will start drying out again by the end of the week. That’ll get lows even cooler than today’s by a degree or two, expecting them around 61 degrees by Saturday morning. Highs will creep down to our normal by then, which is around 83 degrees.

Temperatures will start to bounce back quickly though, and just as it’s starting to get “too hot” again by next week another dry cold front moves through bringing our first highs in the 70s of the season.
