20-year-old, three teens arrested for aggravated assault in Gulfport

Multiple arrests have been made in Gulfport in relation to an assault at Jones Park.

The Gulfport Police Department arrested 20-year-old Kadin Walker of Bay St. Louis, 19-year-old Samuel Dwyer of Waveland, 19-year-old Ayden Christophe of Bay St. Louis, and 19-year-old Benny Williams III of Waveland. All four have been charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.

On September 22, 2024, the Gulfport Police Department responded to Jones Park in reference to an assault.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with an adult victim. Witnesses stated that the victim was physically assaulted by a group of suspects who had fled. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Witnesses provided cellular video of the incident. The suspects were armed with a handgun while removing property from the victim. These arrests were possible due the assistance of the public.

After being processed, each arrestee was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Each arrestee had bonds totaling $500,000.
