Community comes out to the WXXV News 25 Senior Expo

WXXV News 25 hosted a senior expo earlier Tuesday at the Lyman Community Center.

Multiple organizations came together to give seniors information they may need and even things they may not know they need.

WXXV News 25 caught up with one attendee who explains why they enjoy events like this. Expo Attendee Leon said, “I enjoy it because a lot of times you get information and made aware of things you never knew you weren’t aware of. The people are always very nice, it’s a good way to keep in contact if you have questions. Someone you can call and ask.”

Director of Emergency Services Frank Duke said, “We’re here because we care. We want the seniors to know we are here for you. We want you to feel comfortable to come in.”
