Gulfport man arrested on an aggravated assault charge

A Gulfport man is arrested and charged with aggravated assault in Harrison County.

Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley announced the arrest of 21-year-old Terrance Daitwan Wilson Thursday, August 15th.

According to officials, the arrest was in relation to a stabbing on John Clark Road in Gulfport. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a stab wound in the abdomen. Deputies learned the victim got into an argument with another person in the home which then turned physical.

As a result of the argument, Wilson used a knife to stab the victim in the abdomen. The victim was life-flighted to a hospital for treatment. His injuries are non-life threatening.

Wilson was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and charged with aggravated assault and he is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
