Two coastal schools hosting regional literacy meetings

Two south Mississippi cities will play host to MDE literacy meetings within the next month.

The Long Beach meeting takes place from six to 7 PM on September 5th at Quarles Elementary.

Interested families need to head to Quarles Elementary School.

The meeting’s focus is on literacy strategies for kids in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Moss Point’s meeting is set for September 17th at the Family Education Center.

Families can attend any meeting regardless of where they live.
