05/12 Ryan’s “Slow Front” Friday Night Forecast
A slow cold front is meandering through the area tonight, and already sent two waves of strong storms across South Mississippi. The storms may be gone, but a few showers are still possible until the front passes by after midnight. We won’t see too much cooling behind this front, but the air will be considerably drier. It will take some time for the drier air to filter in, but by Saturday afternoon, we’ll be seeing considerably clearer skies and no rain.
Mother’s Day weekend is looking great! Expect temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s with clear and sunny skies! It’ll be a perfect day for an afternoon picnic or any activity Mom can throw at you.
The rest of the week remains dry, but gradually warms and becomes more humid.
