New program provides transportation to and from county health offices

The Mississippi State Department of Health is rolling out a new program designed to get Mississippians in need to and from their health appointments.

‘Transportation to Health’ is a free, federally-funded program designed to get people to county health clinics, WIC appointments, or pharmacies to pick up prescriptions.

Passengers will be transported by Uber drivers and you can make an appointment and arrange transportation now by calling 855-767-0170.
