Global tech outage impacts along the Gulf Coast

WXXV News 25 reached out to local businesses across the Coast to see if they have been impacted by the global technology outage.

Hancock Whitney Vice President and Senior Communications Officer Paul Maxwell tells us the bank does not use CrowdStrike as their security service.

Hancock Whitney has not seen any direct impacts to their applications, but will continue to watch for potential impacts.

WXXV News 25 also reached out to Keesler Federal Credit Union, but have not heard back at this time.

Emergency management agencies on the Coast say they were not affected by the outages the United States if facing.
