Live fire and training exercises at Camp Shelby

A heads up for those of you who live within the vicinity of Camp Shelby. Live fire training on the base began today and runs through the rest of this month.

Those exercises will have minimal impacts on travel. Aside from the live fire training, there are certain maneuvers happening throughout the base’s training areas and on public roads.

Camp Shelby will update the public if and when public routes are impacted by travel.
