64-year-old arrested and charged with sexual battery in Gulfport

On March 20, 2024, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 64-year-old David Patrick Burkart and charged him with one count of Sexual Battery.

Through the course of the investigation, Detectives learned that Burkart had sexual relations with a juvenile victim.

Burkart was processed and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center to be held in lieu of his $500,000 bond.
