3/21 – Jeff’s “Thunderstorms Friday” Thursday Night Forecast

Rain-free conditions before daybreak Friday will eventually fade into the rear-view as a complex of thunderstorms works along the Northern Gulf Coast tomorrow. Heavy rain will be likely at times during the morning and a strong wind gust or two cannot be ruled out. The tornado threat and hail threat are fairly limited. Coverage of showers and thunderstorms will diminish after midday but isolated showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.

Rain chances will be out of the picture by the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will feature cool/mild starts with lovely afternoons under plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will max out in the 70s both days so get out and enjoy it! Next week brings another storm system. Some guidance is hinting at the possibility of severe weather in the region so stay tuned to the forecast.
