04/24 Ryan’s “Cool & Clear” Monday Night Forecast
It was cool & clear with breezy winds today, and many of those characteristics will carry over into tonight and tomorrow. Tonight’s low will bottom out near 55 on the coast with cooler areas inland. The atmosphere is dry overall, but a temperature inversion will trap whatever moisture we have at the surface. Despite the inversion and light winds I don’t expect fog to be an issue tonight thanks to our light northerly winds and dry conditions. Tomorrow and most of Wednesday will be sunny and dry, but southerly winds will begin late Tuesday and increase ahead of an approaching cold front Wednesday night, so the humidity will start becoming more noticeable as we continue to warm.
The cold front will move through the area overnight Wednesday and last into Thursday morning, but we’ll begin seeing warming and clearing as early as Tuesday night, so the front will only serve to dry out the air with much cooling.
