9/21 – Jeff’s “Pleasant End To Summer” Thursday Night Forecast
Other than non-rain producing clouds at times overnight, it will be another pleasant night with a seasonable start to your Friday. There will still be humidity in the picture for a bit longer. Skies will clear out and a lot of sunshine can be expected tomorrow with temperatures in the 90s for some of you. There will be a heat index of around 95 degrees.
A tropical entity forming off of the Southeast Coast, bound for North Carolina will help usher in northeasterly flow this weekend. That will take an edge off of the humidity and skies will be sunny Saturday.
Gradually, an unsettled regime will make its way towards our region. Sunday will bring more cloud cover and the chance for stray showers. But, appreciable rain chances make their way into our area for Monday and Tuesday. A lot of the area is in the Extreme to Exceptional Drought categories so rainfall is desperately needed.
