9/5 – Jeff Vorick’s “Warm With Changes” Tuesday Evening Forecast

Some clouds will be around this evening as temperatures will cool from hot to more tolerable by sundown. Humidity will be tolerable overnight but it will gradually be on the upswing tomorrow. Out the door, temperatures will be fairly mild but there will be a 20% chance of showers and an isolated rumble of thunder Wednesday morning.

Skies will be clearer by the afternoon and temperatures will be hot again. The humidity will add a heat index of about 100 to 105 degrees into the picture. Some nice changes will be on the way for the end of this week. A storm system currently over portions of the Upper Midwest will drape a cold front across our region.

The front will start to approach our area by Thursday. Some energy with the front combined with daytime heating and the sea breeze will lead to a 40% chance of thunderstorms for the afternoon. Rain chances will peak with daytime heating. The front will bring isolated rain chances for Friday, too.
