Hancock County Sheriff’s Office launches app for community to share tips

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has rolled out a new tip line to help fight crime.

The new mobile app will allow Hancock County residents to submit anonymous crime tips with sheriff’s deputies.

Hancock County Sheriff Ricky Adam says this will help form a deeper crime-fighting partnership with local residents.

The app is available to download on the Google Play or Apple App stores now.  If you don’t have a smart phone, you can still submit a tip at the sheriff’s department’s website or by texting keyword HCSOMS to 847411.
