8/4 Chris’s “Heat Warning” Friday Morning Forecast

Welcome to the first Friday/Weekend of August. Temperatures will not be pleasant today or for the weekend. A EXCESSIVE  HEAT WARNING IS IN EFFECT  FROM 11am until 7pm for heat indices of 106-114. This afternoon we have a very small chance to see a shower or a thunderstorm. EFFECT  FROM 11am until 7pm for heat indices of 106-114. . Tomorrow  A EXCESSIVE  HEAT WATCH IS IN EFFECT  FROM 11am until 7pm for heat indices of 106-114. Saturday we have a better chance to see a shower or a thunderstorm in the afternoon due to a front closer to the area. This hot typical summertime pattern will continue Sunday as the sea-breeze will induce thunderstorm activity. This activity however will limit heat indices a tad to maybe below advisory levels which is very much welcome. As we head into the first full week of August temperatures will stay in the mid-90s  with afternoon thunderstorm chances each day.
