8/2 – Jeff Vorick’s “Heat Advisory” Wednesday Evening Forecast

A Heat Advisory remains in place until 7 PM this evening. Temperatures well into the 90s will feel like 110 degrees at times. There is a chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm this evening before sunset. Overnight, it will remain warm and humid. Winds will remain out of the south to southwest. Clouds will clear out by daybreak.

Tomorrow will be almost a repeat of today. Very hot conditions will build in by mid-morning. A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 10 AM until 7 PM again Thursday. More cloud cover and very isolated shower/thunderstorm chances can be expected. The main concern will be the heat as has been the case all week.

Be sure to take any necessary precautions with the heat and humidity. The pattern will gradually change towards this weekend. Rain chances are back in the picture for the end of the weekend. It looks like a more unsettled pattern will greet us to start next week.
