7/26 – Jeff’s “Heat Gradually Cranking Up” Wednesday Night Forecast
Skies will remain mostly clear overnight as temperatures will once again cool to milder readings. Humidity is very gradually on the uptick but it is still a welcomed break from what we had before. Skies will be mainly clear to start tomorrow with partly cloudy skies building by the afternoon. 20% chances of stray showers and thunderstorms can be expected.
Friday will essentially be a repeat of Thursday. The pattern will revert back to the miserably hot and humid one we’ve become accustomed to. More typical thunderstorm chances will be back in the picture by the end of the weekend. Strong high pressure builds in and next week could see dangerous heat build back in. In the tropics, there is one area to watch in the far-eastern Atlantic with a 30% chance of developing. No threats to South Mississippi at this time.
