7/5 – Jeff Vorick’s “Heavy Thunderstorms” Wednesday Evening Forecast
Thunderstorms will wind down this evening as the peak heating of the day goes away. Cloud coverage will remain dominant overnight. Winds will shift to out of the northwest tonight thanks to high pressure moving somewhat. A touch of drier air will allow for somewhat milder temperatures.
Tomorrow will essentially be a repeat of today. More sunshine can be expected in the morning before cloud cover and rain chances elevate. There will be a 60% chance of thunderstorms for your Thursday. Thunderstorms could bring very efficient rainmakers and of course, frequent lightning. Friday will provide for the same other than a tad less coverage.
A brief break in the unsettled pattern will come this weekend with more sunshine and more isolated rain chances. The usual summer regime of hot temperatures and daily rain chances will remain.
