6/4 – Jeff Vorick’s “Summer Weather” Sunday Night Forecast
Hot, humid, and unsettled weather has returned to our routine in South Mississippi. For tonight, expect cloud coverage to thin somewhat and temperatures to remain mild. Humidity is here to stay as a typical summertime airmass has settled in.
Tomorrow will be much like today; temperatures will warm very quickly through the morning and a sea breeze will be primed to form. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be present for your Monday afternoon. As daytime heating goes away, rain coverage will diminish.
The week will feature a lot of rinse and repeat. Tuesday and Wednesday will feature isolated/scattered activity. Thursday will have the potential to be the day with the highest amount of coverage of showers and thunderstorms.
