City of Biloxi hosted job fair

The City of Biloxi is looking to hire some new employees.

A wide variety of positions are open, giving people the chance to learn about different opportunities in the city.

Located at the Donal M. Snyder Community Center, departments each had a table with information on positions available.

Each table featured a wide array of pamphlets and information on how you can succeed working for the City of Biloxi. Biloxi Public Affairs Specialist John Majure said, “We have the police department here behind me. They’re taking applications, the fire department is taking applications, we even have applications for life guards. If you want to see that but you’re not able to make it to the fair, you can always go to the city’s website.”

If you missed out on the job fair today, it will still be going on tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
