4/6 – Jeff’s “Isolated Thunderstorms” Thursday Night Forecast
Clouds are increasing this evening and it remains mild across the coast. There will be a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight. Tomorrow will provide for much more in the way of cloud coverage and rain chances will elevate through the day.
Isolated to scattered pop-up activity will evolve to batches of rainfall. Expect a couple of rounds of showers and thunderstorms to move through our area between Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. There is the low-end threat for a strong-to-severe thunderstorm or two tomorrow into Saturday.
Rainfall totals could end up with local amounts in excess of 2-3 inches. There is a Slight risk for flash flooding with this event. Drier times will arrive for the end of Easter weekend and into next week
