9/29 – Rob’s “Clearing Skies” Mid-Morning Forecast

Fairly strong early season cold front has moved through the entire area which includes the marine offshore as well. Clearing skies will continue today with sunshine through the extended forecast period. A reinforcing surge of dry cool air will move through the area Thursday night into Friday keeping these conditions through the weekend. This is when the next tropical disturbance is expected to initialize over the NW Caribbean. As this feature moves closer to the Yucatan, a deep moisture feed will get transported northward ahead of yet another cold front Sunday. This front will have the capable of producing some showers/t-storms well north of the area. But as our area is caught in a strong high-pressure, we should continue to enjoy dry weather.
