9/19 – Jeff’s “Subtle Changes” Tuesday Night Forecast
Temperatures will be cool and comfortable out the door tomorrow with it only being slightly warmer as compared to this morning. Clear skies will dominate through much of the morning with cloud cover increasing at times in the afternoon. A stray shower cannot be ruled out for some but rain chances are less than 20%.
Humidity will increase somewhat for the middle of the week. It will add a mild heat index factor into play for Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. The storm track consisting of a stationary front will nudge eastward into our area. It will help focus moisture to provide a 20% or so chance of showers and a stray thunderstorm Thursday.
The boundary will retreat west by the end of the week. This combining with northeasterly wind flow around a developing area of low pressure off the southeast coast will usher in drier air. Also, skies will be sunnier into this weekend for the official start of Fall. The next weather-maker will look to arrive early next week in the form of a cold front.
