8/30 – Rob’s “Hotter” Workweek Forecast

It’s a BEAUTIFUL start along the Mississippi Gulf coast as high pressure from the Carolinas extends into the northern Gulf. An area of low-pressure in the NW’tern Gulf continues to move west into east Texas. TD #9 is also a factor in the SE Gulf…as it moves to the NW, it will make a turn to the north tonight and then to the NE heading for the Florida big bend area. If it continues to the track the NHC has issued, landfall should occur just west of Gainesville Florida Thursday morning/afternoon. This will bring a DRY NE wind to our area increasing temps into the mid 90 Thursday. The pattern will return to normal for the weekend.
