8/13 – Payton’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

With high pressure centered overhead, rain chances will remain fairly low this afternoon, but a few thunderstorms could develop. The same thing continues into Tuesday before things start to change midweek. Rain chances will start to go up as high pressure starts to build back off toward the east. Southerly flow will return and more showers and thunderstorms will be likely during the afternoon. This continues into the weekend with highs in the lower 90s.

TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days.
