7th Annual Community Turkey Give-A-Way happening in Gulfport today, Nov. 26

She’s often working hard to pass legislation to benefit her constituents in South Mississippi, but later today, District 119 State Representative Sonya Williams-Barnes will be helping to hand out turkeys to families in need here on the Gulf Coast.

State representative Sonya Williams Barnes has teamed up with Chama Gulf Coast to host the 7th Annual Community Turkey Give-A-Way.

Free turkeys will be given out today at Lockett-Williams Mortuary in Gulfport, starting at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Turkeys will be served on a first-come, first served basis, and will be given out only as supplies last.

Event organizers ask that only those who are truly in need, and challenged to afford the traditional turkey at Thanksgiving, to show up for a free holiday turkey later today.

The distribution site, Lockett-Williams Mortuary, is located at 2018 31st Avenue, Gulfport, MS.
