7/4 – Rob’s “Independence Day” Forecast
***Happy 4th Of July / Independence Day***
After a HOT weekend, the mercury will continue in the 90s. High-pressure dominance in the northern Gulf of Mexico will suppress the atmosphere and keep a blocking pattern along the SE. Frontal boundaries to the NW will ride above the ridge of high-pressure keeping the area under rain-free conditions. Only a few early morning and then mid-afternoon showers and t-storms possible due to daytime heating. Breezy conditions will have winds gusting into the upper teens/low 20 mph range through Wednesday as the gradient begins to weaken.
