7/10 – Payton’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

This morning started off dry with a north wind, but south winds have returned to the area this afternoon along with some clouds. There is a chance for scattered showers this afternoon, but not everyone will see rain. The best chance will be from around noon until this evening. The strongest storms will have heavy rain, gusty winds and some lightning. Scattered storm chances continue for the rest of this week, but increase slightly into the weekend as moisture flow really picks up. Temperatures will continue to be hot with highs in the low to mid 90s, but feeling around 100 degrees. Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.
