7/26 – Payton’s Friday Afternoon Forecast

FORECAST: One final day of decent weather before we get back to where we should be this time of year. Friday will be warm, slightly more humid and a few showers are possible. Most will be dry today though. Saturday the rain chances creep up a little more along with more humidity and clouds. This trend continues as we go through the weekend and next week.

TROPICS: No tropical development is expected over the next five days. There are three tropical waves in the eastern Atlantic that are somewhat strong. There is a lot of dry air over the Atlantic and this will likely suppress any further development of these waves this weekend and into next week. We’ll keep an eye on them though. Additional waves in the Eastern Atlantic will have to be watched over the next several weeks.
