7/12 – Jeff Vorick’s “Brief Lull” Wednesday Evening Forecast
Things have quieted down from earlier but scattered thunderstorm chances are possible this evening. Eventually, there will be quiet time and even some clearing overnight. Thursday will be another unsettled day with the potential for heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms could come in a couple of rounds, once in the morning hours and again for the afternoon.
The pattern is eventually going to return to a more typical summertime pattern. But, there is the potential for flooding rainfall again tomorrow. By Friday and Saturday, there will still be daily thunderstorm chances but there will also be much more sunshine.
Another system will make its way into our region by the second half of the weekend. Rain chances will be elevated again Sunday and Monday. High pressure takes over into next week and excessive heat could become a concern.
