Isolated activity has been moving into the area from the south since prior to sunrise…the activity has been on the increase the past few hours…

Deep tropical moisture over the western Gulf of Mexico will move into the area from the southwest ahead of an upper level trough of low-pressure. This moisture flow coupled with a stationary front will provide for cloudy and rainy conditions the rest of the workweek.

Efficient rain makers could bring periods of HEAVY RAIN to south Mississippi over the next couple of days, before drier air moves in heading into the weekend. Dry conditions will move in through the 4th of July holiday…
